- The ill-equipped British 24th Brigade landed at Harstat, Norway 37 miles north of Narvik. - German submarine U-3 and British submarine HMS Porpoise engaged in combat with torpedoes 10 miles southwest of Egersund, Norway. No hits were scored. ww2dbase [CPC]
