ww2dbaseThe Luliang Airfield in Yunnan Province, China was the main base of US 23rd Fighter Group during the latter phases of WW2. It also hosted some photographic reconnaissance variant of P-38 Lightning aircraft and C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft. The base was closed in Oct 1945 and was later re-opened by the Communist Chinese military.
