ww2dbaseThe Pungchacheng Airfield in Zhejiang Province, China began hosting P-40 Warhawk fighters and P-47 Thunderbolt fighter-bombers of US 33rd Fighter Group in Jul 1944 and P-51 Mustang fighters of US 311th Fighter Group in Aug 1944. The base was closed in late 1945. The area where the airfield once stood was later developed into an industrial area.
