I have sent you a separate email with more details but Rafael L Hernandez was killed along with another flight deck sailor when a Hancock SB2C dive-bomber crashed on deck during its landing.

My father Rafael L Hernandez served on this ship and was killed October 4, 1944 and buried at sea. Is there any website were I can get information on what happened that day?
