LtoR: unidentified Chinese official, MGen Claire L Chenault, Sen JM Mead of NY, Sen Henry Cabot Lodge of Massachusetts, Sen AB Chandler of Kentucky, unidentified Chinese officer, LGen Joseph W Stillwell, Sen RR Russell of Georgia, Sen Ralph O Brewster of Maine, unidentified officer, BGen Edgar E Glenn, unidentified officer. This C-87A is the first aircraft built specifically for use by the President of the United States, with a ramp for President Roosevelt's wheelchair, but was never used by him. It spent its entire career hauling AAF VIP’s.
