To Anonymous of 27 Oct 2018: USS New Mexico was operating out of Norfolk in Oct 1941, conducting "Neutrality Patrols" in the Atlantic Ocean. Unfortunately the exact date of this photo is not known, so it is hard to be 100% certain. Do you mind sharing why you do not believe this is USS New Mexico? Thank you.

i doubt the New Mexico is in the picture,my guess it's the New York
