Emblem on fuselage is the Vienna-Aspern
Coat of Arms, used by II./JG54

What type of ammunition is being loaded?
looks to large to be 7.92mm, could be the
13mm MG 131 the rounds look large, or they
could be the 15mm MG 151/15.

The weapons were air-cooled, recoil operated
and belt feed. They were synchronized to
fire through the propeller.

Note*

I've seen captured Russian machine gun metal link-belts, that hold the ammunition, and the design looks like it was copied from the
wartime German design.

EMBLEMS:

File photograph shows ground crew re-arming a Bf 109 ammo looks large for the two upper mounted 7.92mm ammo, like either 15 or 20mm cannon ammo
Emblem on fuselage side "Lion of Asperm" that was an Austrian unit I./134
that became I./JG76 and later II./JG54...
