FOREIGN EQUIPMENT:
Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 Black 14 captured by 79th Fighter Group, 12th Air Force Mediterranean Theatre, 79th Fighter Squadron. Shipped to Wright Field, Ohio, for evaluation and testing. Photograph shows the 109 undergoing static testing.
Check out the replacement (Port) that's the left wing. Emblem on fuselage is the 86th Fighter Squadron showing s Native American with a Tomahawk, guiver and arrows.
