HIMMLER WITH THREE OTHER SS-OFFICERS, LET'S
SEE WHAT RANKS THEY ARE. HIMMLER'S RANK WAS REICHFUHRER-SS IN CENTER OF PHOTO.

THE OFFICER ON HIMMLER'S LEFT, IS A BRIGADIER
GENERAL. THE OFFICER ON HIMMLER'S RIGHT IS AN (SD) OFFICER HIS RANK IS 2ND LIEUTENANT.

THE RANK OF THE OFFICER BEHIND HIM, I CAN'T MAKE OUT, BUT HE'S AN ADJUTANT AND HE IS WEARING THE SILVER AIGUILLETTES ON HIS RIGHT SHOULDER.
THE OFFICER BEHIND THE FOUR OTHERS, HIS RANK IS THAT OF AN SS-CAPTAIN AND HE IS ALSO AN ADJUTANT WEARING THE AIGUILLETTES CORD ON HIS RIGHT SHOULDER.
HE HAS BEEN AWARDED THE IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS W/RIBBON WORN ON THE SECOND BUTTON OF HIS UNIFORM, AND ALSO AWARDED THE IRON CLASS 1ST CLASS. UNIFORMS ARE THE M1940 FIELD GRAY

IF FORGOT TO MENTION THE AWARD ON THE SS- BRIGADIER GENERALS LOWER LEFT POCKET, IT LOOKS LIKE THE S.A. SPORTS BADGE:
THIS AWARD WAS AN UPWARD SWORD IMPOSED ON A SWASTIKA ENCIRCELED BY AN OAK-WREATH.
THE GENERAL IS WEARING THE STANDARD SS-EAGLE ON THE LIFT UNIFORM SLEEVE.

THE SS-CAPTAIN AND THE(SD)OFFICER LOOK LIKE THEY ARE WEARING THE OLDER M36 UNIFORM WITH
THE DARK GREEN COLLAR.
BOTH THE M36 AND M40 FIELD GRAY UNIFORMS WERE POPULAR WITH OFFICER'S AND ENLISTED MEN IN BOTH THE ARMY AND THE SS.

I'm pretty sure the SS adjutant on the right is Joachim Peiper.

After another review, it appears that the man standing on the right side of the photograph is likely to be Peiper. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
