Signing the Instrument of Surrender is Japanese Navy Vice Admiral Ruitaro Fujita. Seated at the table opposite Fujita are Royal Navy Rear Admiral Cecil Harcourt, US Army Colonel Adrian Williamson, and Royal Canadian Navy Captain W.B. Creery. Out of frame to the left next to Harcourt is Chinese Major General Pan Hwa Kuei.
