My uncle, Nathan Hodge, and his crew received The Distinguished Flying Cross Award for three maneuvers in a VB-104.He describes the continual bombing for three days and three nights. I published his life and many stories in My Sojourn Through the Storms of Life. The book is available on Amazon. The skipper was Harry Edward Sears.
