EVE OF DESTRUCTION:

"LITTLE BOY" the uranium bomb detonated over Hiroshima. 15,000 tons of high explosive. Did you know both bomb casings were assembled at three different factories, to keep the design
secret.
Each bomb detonation called for different shapes. "LITTLE BOY" was long, while "FAT MAN' was round in shape...
Both bombs had tail fins to stabilize its fall toward the target.

FINISHING DETAILS:

Both bombs had production numbers, and other data stenciled on bomb casing.
Bomb was armed in flight and had special bomb release
designed. "LITTLE BOY" had UHF antennas so the bomb could be tracked after BOMB AWAY during its fall to the target.
LITTLE BOY the Uranium bomb target HIROSHIMA
FAT MAN the Plutonium bomb NAGASAKI

OVER KILL:

Did you know that as many as (12) atomic bombs were planned for attacks against the Empire of Japan, if this would have happened Japan as a Country would have been wiped off the face of the earth...

NATIONAL INTEREST:

Did you know that over 200,000 thousand scientists,
engineers, technicians, skilled professionals and those in other fields took part in the development of the Atomic bomb.

The Atomic Bomb program cost the US Government 2,000,000,000 Billion that's in 1940s dollars.
Tons and tons of theoretical calculations and other data all this was accomplished without todays computers fantastic!
