LOST HORIZONS:

Curtiss C-46 Commando Logo side of fuselage is CNAC China National Airways Corp. (1929-1949)
Surviving aircraft later operated with (CAT)
Civil Air Transport operating out of Taiwan.
Communist Chinese forces captured C-46's that were left on Mainland China, as the Nationalist Chinese moved to Taiwan 1949

71 planes (5- Convair240, 18- C46, 17- C47 of CATC: 5-DC4, 18-C46，7-C47 and 1-AT6 of CNAC) belonging to CNAC and CATC were stranded in Hong Kong after 12 planes (1 Convair 240, 3 -C46 and 7were flew to Mainland China. These planes earlier were registered under CAT Inc. in Dec. 1949.
Full Court of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong ordered them to be returned to PRC and the decision was reversed by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council of the King of England which ordered it to be returned to CAT Inc.
