FREQUENT FLYER MILES: HOPE FOR THE BEST

Eurasia's commercial rival was (CNAC) China National Aviation Corporation. However, Lufthansa and the Chinese Government signed a 10-year agreement in 1930, the start up airline was named Eurasia.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE:

It was a big job with limited existing maps of the country, limited support facilities, lack of spare parts, or due to mechanical problems, weather could ground an aircraft for days even weeks, leaving crew and passengers stranded! until help arrived, even living conditions and flying aids were primitive.
In 1941 the Chinese Government ended its ties with Germany and Lufthansa, because of its alliance with Imperial Japan.

SHANGHAI GREENS:

Did you know, it would be (40) forty years before
a Lufthansa aircraft landed again in China.

I thank the editor/ww2db for allowing me to leave my knowledge of WWII
