I'm searching for more information regarding the Navy taking the Army across the Rhine River in March 1945. My concern is I was part of the group that took them across in our LCM's, but I got sick the night before my unit left for Germany. I think I was still in Sick Bay when they got back. There were no casualities or resistance.
