My Father, Ronald W. Blake, 35th Infantry Division, 60th Engineers, was at that site. He used to tell us kids about it. It never sank in. One day while moving his books, a photo of the massacre fell out. I now am proud of the fact my Dad was there. He said he was part of a group that hunted down the SS Troopers, and killed the bastard.
