~1901 A.G. Weser shipyard plan before the five slips were built. The horizontal slip was the only
way of launching until ~1908. An old German marine engineering book indicated that the “Fehmarnbeltâ€, yard no. 369¸ was the last ship launched from the horizontal slip, although this can
not be verified.
