The roadway seen in the photo was first known as Belleview Blvd and is now Imperial Hwy. Across the road is the Douglas Aircraft Company’s aircraft factory with F4D Skyray jet fighters visible on their ramp. The North American property is now part of the air freight complex at the Los Angeles International Airport and none of the original buildings remain. The Douglas property has been acquired by Northrop-Grumman and is still involved in the manufacturing of aeronautical components.
