Records for the tail number include this aircraft in a batch of Douglas A-20G-20-DO Havoc’s. Wikipedia (for what it’s worth) also lists all A-20 variants as Havoc’s, except the bomber variants serving with the RAF and Commonwealth forces. The National Insignia dates this photo after Sept 1943.

Records for the tail number include this aircraft in a batch of Douglas A-20G-20-DO Havoc’s. Wikipedia (for what it’s worth) also lists all A-20 variants as Havoc’s, except the bomber variants serving with the RAF and Commonwealth forces. The National Insignia dates this photo after Sept 1943.

Whilst I agree that this is probably an A-20G, the name HAVOC should really only apply to the British modified Night Fighter cinverted from Boston airframes.
