THE Vz37 WAS BUILT BY CZ BRio, AND WAS A CREW SERVED HEAVY MACHINE GUN THAT WAS
MOUNTED ON A TRIPOD, WAS CHAMBERED FOR THE 7.92x57MM MAUSER/7.9MM. RATE OF FIRE WAS BETWEEN 500 TO 800 RPM, THIS WEAPON WAS MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA STARTING IN 1937 UNTIL THE COUNTRY WAS INVADED BY NAZI GERMANY.

DURING THE OCCUPATION STOCKS OF VZ37s WERE CAPTURED FROM THE CZECH ARMY AND USED BY THE GERMANS,DURING THE WAR, THE Vz37 WERE ALSO PRODUCED FOR AXIS FORCES.
PRODUCTION ENDED AFTER WWII, DUE TO MANY IMPROVED WEAPONS AVAILABLE IN POST-WAR EUROPE.
