Looks like a cold and windy day. This soldier
is equipped with a great coat, gloves, field glasses, K98 ammo pouches, bayonet, gas mask
looks like a 7.92mm Mauser Karabiner 98K
Rifle and his Stahlhelm "Steel Helmet" he also has been issued ankle-boots w/canvas or leather gaiters.

cela ressemble à Veulettes sur Mer depuis le Casino en direction de conteville (Paluel) mais le grain de la photo ne facilite pas la chose beaucoup de vestige de grosses installations allemandes plus de 20 bunker de différentes formes beaucoup sont inaccessibles des deux cotés de la vallées (enterrés)
