A friend of mine lived in Vienna and saw Goring ride into Vienna holding this Baton
Another friend bought a Smith Wesson revolver
during the war at a German town, the US Army could not shut the business down because it was a US company, so they posted a MP to make sure gune were only sold to Allied servicemen.

Goring's Reich marshal( not field marshal) baton( white shaft) is NO way $35,000, It should me $1.7 to 2 Million or even more! Keitel's field marshal baton is already $1M in 2010 deal.

I think its ironic that Goring's Marshal's Baton is on display at our Military Acadamy at West Point. We all know the history of his stealing all the art treaures of Europe to diplay at Karin Hall; we Americans now display his greatest treasure next to his two great medals for bravery by defeating his Airforce and the criminal regime that he was second in command.

cant believe the yanks have such a precious piece of WW11 military history, should be returned to Germany or at least to a member of the family. They have no right to keep it after producing such fine officer cadets as Sherman and Custer.

nON SEQUITUR.
goering's baton is a legitimate spoil of war. If he wanted to keep it, Germany should not have declared war on America and began unrestricted submarine warfare, Everything is fair against the perpetrators of the Holocaust and a world war.
