At one time the Philippine Air Force had over 100 P-51 Mustangs in service.
However at the end of their service lives, the aircraft were scrapped, none of the fighters, were returned to the United States.

Noticed tail wheel in pemanent down possition. Earlier Phil.Air Force Mustangs had retractable tail wheel. Are this mustangs delivered to the PAF post Korean Conflict?
