SOUL SURVIVOR:
The Nagato was armed with 8 x 16 inch guns and was 33,000 tons with a top speed of 26.5 knots.
She survived WWII, and was surrendered at wars end.
In 1946 she was used as a target with other ships at Bikini. Testing post-war atomic bombs Surviving the first test (able) on July 1, 1946. However, she later capsized and sank a week later after the second test on July 25, 1946

An observation on your Photographs contents. The Musashi is also in the picture. It is seen slightly ahead and left of the Yamato's bow
