ACHTUNG! LITTLE WILLI, AND THE PROPGANDA MINISTER DR. GOEBBELS:

HIS PLACE IN HISTORY

Willi Hubner was awarded the Iron Cross, Second Class, for bravery as a battalion runner.
16 year old Willi served with the Fuhrer Grenadier Division, March 1945 during the battle for Berlin. Another photo shows Willi being patted on the cheek by the Fuhrer who smiled at him upon learning Willi was also battalion runner and awarded the Iron Class, Second Class.
He was later captured by the Russians, and survived the war he was lucky. The lives of thousands of other Hitler Youth were wasted by using them senselessy into lost battles with the Allies, when the war was already lost.

I can imagine how dangerous the job of runner would be in Berlin, because radio and telephone communications were strained, or didn't exist at all, how many runner's were lost, sent out, never to be seen or heard from again killed and buried in the rubble all around them.

The British WWII Documentary "World at War"
would show, a much older Willi Hubner giving an interview, about his experiences.
Another Documentery "The Fatal Attraction of Adolf Hitler" shows Willi Hubner interviewed again.

During WWI Adolf Hitler also served as a battalion runner on the Western Front, and held the rank of Lance Corporal, he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class.

An Allied infantryman was quoted as saying the Hitler Youth fighters were, to him, 'detestable little beasts'... I suppose that can be construed as a compliment, of sorts!

"HE WHO OWNS THE YOUTH, OWNS THE FUTURE"

-ADOLF HITLER-

Hitler Youth, Their motto was: Blut und Ehre (Blood and Honor)

The Hitler Youth was a para-military organization of the Nazi Party, and existed
from 1922 to 1945, by 1933 it had 2.3 million members. They were indoctrinated in National Socialism, Anti-Semitism and would become the future soldiers and fight for
Nazi Germany.

BLOOD AND HONOR

Trained in weapons and basic infantry tactics wore uniforms like the SA w/similar rank and insignia. It was a stepping stone into the SS and Waffen-SS.
By 1943 the Hitler Youth were turned into military reserve, to make up for the losses suffered by the Armed forces. In 1945 the
Volkssturm was drafting many 12 year old
Hitler Youth to fight, and formed the last line of defence for the Third Reich.
