Hitler is riding in one of his favorite cars, his heavily armored 1938 Mercedes Benz 770K. Many earlier photos show Hitler in his 1935 Mercedes Benz 770K, seen here immediately behind Hitler and to his right. In the other column of this motorcade is the three-axle Mercedes Benz 374 (civilian designation G4). Hitler’s motorcades were very specifically organized, there is probably another 374 filled with bodyguards immediately in front of Hitler and a still another 374 about a block ahead of that one.
