Famous WW2 Quote
"With Germany arming at breakneck speed, England lost in a pacifist dream, France corrupt and torn by dissension, America remote and indifferent... do you not tremble for your children?"Winston Churchill, 1935

TROPHY COLLECTION:
Tiger on the left, and Nashorn on the right.
The Nashorn a self-propelled vehicle able to
carry the 88mm Pak 43, it was able to engage
enemy tanks while they were out of range themselves, Secondary armament 1x7.92mm MG.
The vehicle was named Nashorn (Rhinoceros) by Adolf Hitler. Based on the PzKpfw IV chassis about 473 were built it was lightly armored with a high profile but stayed in service until the end of the war.
M4A1 SHERMAN:
Two knocked out tanks, are American Medium
Tanks M4A1 Sherman, looks like a first production model w/fully cast rather than a cast/welded hull.
Check out the small loader hatch/pistol port opened, located on the left side only.
The Sherman was armed with a 75mm gun and secondary armament was 2x.30cal machine guns
w/4700 rounds and 1x.50cal M-2 machine gun w/
300 rounds? that might be for the book, but in real life, that .50 eats a lot of lead, and fast! so I'm gonna guess here crews carried more that 300 rounds. Production for the Sherman was about 50,000 tanks.
