OMAR N. BRADLEY 1895 - 1981 GENERAL US ARMY WWII
There is evidence that Bradley despised Patton
both personally and professionally. In the 1970 film "Patton" Bradley was seen as a good buddy to Patton, in real life Bradley was very jealous of Patton and would run to Eisenhower behind Patton's back. He would obstruct, block, prevent or hinder progress.
Did you know that Gen. Omar Bradley was paid big
money to act as military consultant on the 1970 film "Patton" even though he didn't like the man,
(Patton )he grabbed the money and ran, instead of telling the truth about their real not movie reel military relationship during WWII.
Historically he should have been seen as the man he was you could say, he grabbed the money and ran
POSTERITY:
Did you know that the film "Patton" has been preserved by the Library of Congress as being a historically significant film.
General George S. Patton Jr. will always remain the topic of military discussion. After WWII he was relieved of his beloved 3rd Army and moved down the ladder to command the 15th Army, that was a paper army writing the history of the U.S. Army in Europe, he should have been appointed commandant of the War College to teach officers the Art of War.
