Werner von Fritsch Timeline

25 Jun 1934 German Army General Werner von Fritsch put the army on alert based on the intelligence of a possible putsch by the Nazi Party SA organization.
22 Sep 1939 Former German Army Commander-in-Chief Werner von Fritsch was mortally wounded by a Polish bullet whilst on a tour of inspection at Praga, Warsaw, Poland.
26 Sep 1939 Former German Army Commander-in-Chief Werner von Fritsch was buried in Berlin, Germany. Neither Adolf Hitler, nor Joachim von Ribbertrop, nor Heinrich Himmler attended the ceremonial state funeral.
