Baltic Sea French Morocco

Georgia
  • U-23 sank Soviet motor tug Smelyj with one of two torpedoes fired just off the Georgian coast at 1256 hours, killing eleven. Soviet ships responded with a two-hour depth charge attack, but U-23 was able to escape. ww2dbase [CPC]
Hawaii Italy

Japan Mariana Islands
