USS Nevada’s masts can also be seen against the smoke rising from Hickam Field in the distance. Nevada was already beached at Hospital Point. The dredge Turbine can be seen in the channel at the left edge of the photograph. Behind Turbine is the smoke rising from the burning USS Shaw in the floating drydock.
