second conclusion, was that Itaya was making his second attack at the Kaneohe armory. received ground fire,and may have been killed. The zero dived vertically into the ground, exploded, and skidded into a dirt bank.

I think the photo of the zero, was flown by Lieutenant Commander Shigeru Itaya,received battle damage and crashed dived his zero into the first target of opportunity he could find, during the Pearl Harbor Attack.second conclusion, was that Itaya was making his second attack at the Kaneohe armory. received ground fire,and may have been killed. The zero dived vertically into the ground, exploded, and skidded into a dirt bank.World War 2 changed the world, split into two camps in Europe, East vs the West, a Cold War that continued until the fall of the U.S.S.R. NOW ITS THE INFORMATION WAR! and its World Wide. Friend's have become enemie's, and enemies have become friend's.

Lt. Commander Shigeru Itaya, leader of 1st attack wave over Pearl Harbor, was shotdown and killed by Japanese Army planes over the Kuriles in 1944. Anyone having more info post it here at ww2db.
