ww2dbaseThe Vickers K machinegun, known as the Vickers Gas Operated (VGO) in British service, was developed as a high rate of fire weapon for aircraft by Vickers-Armstrongs, Limited. They were used aboard models such as Swordfish, Battle, and Blenheim aircraft, among others. A few were also used by ground forces, particularly those in commando roles.
